From the Hebei province, this trunk is a combination of Elmwood and pine. Painting on the facade makes for an interesting decorative piece that can serve well as a storage box in addition to being functional as a table or piece set at the end of your bed.
Red Butterfly Cabinet

Images of butterflies flitting about aimlessly completely fill the facade of this lovely red lacquered armoire. As is the case with the bulk of our armoires it is made of Chinese Elmwood and finds its origin in the Shanxi province. Deepened sides allow for a generous 22.5" inside to easily accommodate most televisions. Inside one finds two removable shelves as well as the traditional secret compartment housed in the base.

Detailing throughout this loveseat simply adds a sense of flair. From the gold etched scalloping in the front apron, to gold carved scrolling on the front and insets of the arms, to the delicately detailed painting of birds on the back splat.

Originating from the Shandong province this elm altar is full of character. In the red tones, it also has an exceptionally wide (20") top, with slightly everted ends. Carved spandrels as well as decor filling in the legs, add to the charm of this piece.

Four Panel/Two Sided Screen

Each panel 20" wide and 90" high.
In it's original form this Fujin screen had eight panels. It remains substantial and absolutely stunning as a four panel unit. Beautiful blending of black and red lacquer with gold accents. Screens such as this are hard to come by and we are thrilled to have one available. Another attractive feature of this piece is that the carving, although in the floral motif, is different from the front to the back. If you are looking for an outstanding room divider or back drop, this is the piece to have.
Lacquer and Burl Cabinet

This beautiful cabinet is made of Elm and Burl wood, originally from the Hebei province of China. Inside there is a removable shelf along with two drawers for additional storage. The Lacquer is actually a very dark Mahogany tone which adds richness to the burl inlaid door faces. With just a hint of its Asian heritage this piece will work great with numerous decorating styles.

A unique piece with the traditional floral artwork on the left cupboard doors, is offset with a country scene on the left hand cupboard doors. Made of Elmwood there is a removable shelf behind each cupboard door allowing for ample storage space.
